Start date: 16 November 2026
Location: Milan (B4i, Centro Leoni), hybrid
Who We Are
Procedo builds the Vision Intelligence infrastructure that turns factory processes into structured data, dynamic procedures and analytics. We are a research-born startup accelerated by Bocconi for Innovation, already live in Italian and international plants.
Our next step is to become the data layer for physical AI: the place where companies get the data to train, deploy and manage robots and humanoids in their factories.
Who We Are Looking For
An AI Robotics intern to turn recordings of real human work into data that robots can learn from. You will work with first-person and third-person video, depth and motion sensors, and 3D body and hand models. The internship can also host an MSc thesis.
Key Responsibilities
- Build the pipeline that turns multi-camera recordings (smart glasses, body-worn depth cameras, fixed cameras) into robot-learning datasets: synchronised streams, camera calibration, 3D body, hand and object trajectories, and task steps described in language.
- Measure the quality of these datasets against ground truth: markers, depth sensors and hand measurements.
- Export the data to open robot-learning formats (for example LeRobot) and test it by training and evaluating small policies or retargeting human motion to robot hands in simulation.
- Work with the CTO on recording protocols in customer plants, and integrate the results into the product.
What We Offer
- Paid 6-month internship: full-time, hybrid, in Milan (B4i, Centro Leoni). Start: 16 November 2026.
- Responsibility and autonomy from day one, in close contact with the founders, with constant feedback.
- Direct experience of building a technology startup and of the manufacturing world, with visits to our customers' plants.
- Hands-on work with smart glasses, depth sensors and cloud GPUs.
- Daily use of the latest AI tools in your own work.
- Real industrial data of people at work, rare outside large companies.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's or MSc student, or recent graduate, in artificial intelligence, computer science, data science, mathematics, physics, robotics.
- Python and PyTorch.
- 3D geometry for vision: camera models, calibration, rotations and rigid transforms.
- Robot learning (imitation learning, VLA models), simulation (MuJoCo, Isaac Sim) or ROS 2 are a plus.
- Git and comfort with AI coding tools.
- Fluent English; Italian is a plus.
Core Soft Skills
- Rigour in measuring results, not only in building models.
- Autonomy and proactivity.
- Curiosity for how people and robots work in a factory.
